Duda

Es posible que vengan.  It´s possible that they´re coming

¿No crees que esté lloviendo?  You don´t think it´s raining?

Te estoy diciendo que no es cierto que estén listos.  I´m telling you that´s it´s not true that they´re ready.

Negation

No hay nada aquí que huela a flores. There is nothing here that smells like flowers.

Estoy diciendo que no hay nadie que se parezca a mí. I´m saying that there isn´t anyone who looks like me.

Creen que no hay ningún planeta que con tenga vida. They believe that there isn´t any planet that has life.

No tiene que ver con nada que sea sobre lo que dijiste.  It doesn´t have to do with anything that is about what you said.

Voluntad

¿Que necesitas que yo haga?  What do you need me to do?

¿Creo que quiere que nos hablemos?  I think he wants us to talk to each other.

Nuestra empresa está pidiendo que todos lleguemos temprano mañana.  Our company is asking for all us to come early tomorrow.

Si sugieren que traigamos más, pues traeremos más.  If they suggest that we bring more, well, we´ll bring more.

With conjunctions (with adverbial clauses)

hasta que- until, a pesar de que-despite, siempre que-as long as, para que-in order to, sin que-without, antes de que-before, con tal de que- provided that, a menos que - unless, tan pronto como -as soon as

Sus padres insisten en que ella aprenda español para que sea bilingüe.  Her parents insist that she learns Spanish so that he is bilingual

Tendrá éxito la reforma con tal de que se implemente bien.  The reform will be successful provided that it is implemented well.

With adjective clauses

Cuando + Future

No habrá comida cuando lleguen!  There isn´t going to be food when they arrive!

¿Qué le dirás cuando salga por esas puertas? What are you going to tell her when she passes through those doors?

Si sale por esas puertas, que ¿le dirás?  IF she passes through those doors, what will you tell her?

Indirect Commands

Que Dios le ayude. May God help him.

Que esté abierto. (Please let it be) open. May it be open.

Expresiones Impersonales

Es extraño que no esté. It´s strange that she´s not here.

Emoción

Me alegro de que te hayas recuperado. I´m so happy that you have recovered.

Nos enojamos por el hecho de que la casa no esté a salvo. We´re angry over the fact that the house isn´t being saved.
