Deborah Martínez has taught Spanish for over fifteen years at public (Independence H.S.) and private academies (Harker Academy), as well to employees of leading Bay Area companies (Hewlett Packard, Ebay. Google, Cisco, Yahoo, Netflix) and a myriad of hospital institutions (Kaiser, Valley Medical, Good Samaritan). She received her B.A. in Spanish from the Universidad of Complutense in Madrid, Spain, and a B.S. in Public Relations from San Jose State University. Her experiences in Spain, coupled with her studies of the nuances of Mexican and American customs, have given her a unique insight into the Spanish, Mexican, and American cultures.
