Intensive Beginning Spanish Program (Semi private)

Through this small group (2-4 students) intensive summer course, the student will achieve beginning Spanish fluency. This course consists of formal lecture, group activities, and discussions in target language.

Prerequisites

Students are expected to complete essential outside classwork. This includes assigned readings, homework and the studying of online tutorials.

Upon completion of this course, the student will:

  • Engage in basic Spanish conversation
  • Read and write Spanish at a basic level
  • Understand the cultural geographical, and historical aspect of the Spanish speaking world (with an emphasis on Mexico and Spain)
  • Know vocabulary specific to profession or Spanish speaking goals
  • Master crucial phrases and expressions that help student independently advance fluency
  • Develop learning methods which help student further fluency in Spanish or in any foreign language
